Organizational Intelligence can be modelled as a set of cognitive loops integrating human, social and machine intelligence within a sociotechnical system or enterprise, and this has been the subject of important research within the OR community, particularly in Japan and Germany. In his talk, Richard Veryard will show how these models provide a useful analytic perspective on business viability and survival, and will discuss the implications of this approach for requirements engineering and organizational change.
